Visa Information
A visa is required in advance for a visit to Myanmar and can be obtained from any Myanmar Embassy or Consulate world-wide. Myanmar Tourist visa are valid for a stay of up to 28 days (4 weeks Visa).
E- Visa Information
Now, 101 countries of nations can be applied for e-visa at Yangon & Mandalay International airport.
Online e-visa can be available for tourism purpose only.
Applicant’s procedure
Passport validity must have at least (6) months. Last 3 months of upload one color photo (4.8cm x 3.8cm).
The payment of online e-visa fees is USD 50 and payment process make by credit cards, visa and master cards.
Express online e-visa can apply and visa fee is USD 56 for express visa.
Visa Processing Information
The validity of e-visa approval letter is 90 days from the issued date. If it is expired, entry will be denied.
Length of stay is (28) days from the date of arrival in Myanmar.
e-visa service is non-refundable.
You will receive an email acknowledgement within 1 hour after successful payment.
The processing time is up to (3) working days.
E Visa is only valid for a single entry. Re-entry will require a new visa.Ordinary passport holders from the following countries are giving visa exemption for 14 days-
- Brunei
- Cambodia
- Indonesia
- Laos
- Philippines
- Thailand (Three International Airports Only)
- Vietnam
Visa on arrival
Visa on arrival for 5 more countries starting from 1st October 2019 and 1st January 2020. Visa on arrival allows to the ordinary passport holders of Italian, Spanish, Russian, Swiss, German, Australian, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Hungary and Austria.
Visa on arrival at Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw International Airport for three-year temporary period and allowed to departure from any international gateway.
The visa is valid for the tourist for the purpose of visiting the country only and it is valid for 30 days and not allowed to extend their visa.
The arrival visa fee is cost US$ 50 (Tourist visa) and here is the necessary information:
A valid passport not expiring for at least 6 months from the date you enter into Myanmar
Bring two recent (4 cm x 6 cm) color photos taken within the past six months
Email address, detailed information about your accommodation in Myanmar
Visa, Master, or JCB credit card for the payment [prefer cash in US Dollar]

Additionally, tourists are required to abide by the decision of the On Arrival Visa Scrutiny and Issuing Team
