The Golden Boulder (03Days – 02 Nights)
Yangon –Kyaikhtiyo [Golden Rock] – Bago - Yangon)
Welcome at Yangon International Airport. Meet with our guide and will start our trip to Golden Rock - one of Myanmar's most important pilgrimage sites. Drive to Kyaikhto (around 5 hours) and we will take a public open-air truck (for 45 minutes) to the top of Golden Rock. Check in at hotel and refreshment.
After lunch, we will visit to Golden Rock, a huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Visit surrounding and leisure on your own. Overnight at hotel in Golden Rock.
After breakfast, return to base camp by open-air truck and back to Yangon. On the way, visit Bago – also known as Pegu, was the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15th century.
Spend time exploring Bago with the guide, learning about the history and legends of the city. Visit the 55-metre long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha, the four seated Buddhas at Kyaikpun and the old palace of Kambozathadi, The Shwemawdaw Pagoda - the most outstanding religious monument in Bago.
On the way, we will stop in Htaukkyan Township to visit the Allied War Cemetery - more than 27,000 Allied soldiers who perished during the World War II campaign in Myanmar. On arrival Yangon, check in at hotel and leisure. Overnight in Yangon.

Start the trip by exploring COLONIAL AREA as the city featuring the faded colonial architecture of the old Post office, The Strand Road, Pansodan Street with Colonial architecture Building and walk up to the Pansodan Bridge to make good photos of colonial area and bustling street. Continue walk to High Court and Mahabandoola Garden including the Independence Monument along the way and Sule Pagoda, heart of City Center.
After that visit to Bogyoke Market [formerly known as Scott’s Market – close on every Monday and Public Holidays], the major bazaar of Yangon. It is well known for its colonial architecture and inner cobblestone streets, dominated by antique, Burmese handicraft and jewellery shops, art galleries, and clothing stores. (Note: the market is closed on Mondays and public holidays).
Afternoon visit Kandawgyi Park and visit Local Tea Shop and enjoy Tea & Snacks. Enjoy a coffee or tea with variety of snacks while sitting amongst businessmen, friends and families who gather at the tea shop to socialize or conduct business.
Continue visit Kandawgyi Lake and stroll in the park. Afternoon visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a 70-meter-long reclining Buddha, the feet of the Buddha statue is curved with traditional symbols as its center piece to introduce Myanmar’s unique brand of Buddhism. Finally visit to Shwedagon Pagoda – one of the wonders of the world and the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. The local believe that it was built 2500 years ago. The 8-sided central stupa is 99-meters tall, gilded with gold leaf, and is surrounded by 64 smaller stupas. Visit around the massive complex and learn why this temple is so revered among locals.
Then transfer to International Airport for departure with late night flight. End of the trip.
